Establish football academies in rural areas to provide youth with access to quality coaching, training facilities, and educational support. These academies can serve as platforms for talent development and character building. One success story is the Mathare Youth Sports Association (MYSA) in Nairobi, Kenya. KSWCSI supports Dala FC football club as a tool for social development, offering coaching, life skills training, and educational support to young people from low-income communities.
Integrate life skills training into football programs to equip youth with essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, and conflict resolution. We hope that Success on the field translate will into success in other areas of life, leading to on to professional football careers and role models in Kamser Seka.
Use football as a tool for community outreach and social impact initiatives. Through football tournaments, festivals, and community events we aim to promote social cohesion, peace building, and health awareness. We look forward to using football as a medium to promote security, social and cohesion and to bring together youth from diverse backgrounds to play football together and learn about tolerance, respect, and understanding.
Creating opportunities for girls to participate in football and break gender stereotypes. The Goals for Girls program is to use football to empower girls from underserved communities in Seka. Through football training, leadership workshops, and community service projects, we aims to build confidence, leadership skills, and social awareness among young girls.
Provide pathways for talented youth to pursue careers in football as players, coaches, referees, administrators, or sports journalists. Offer training and support for youth interested in pursuing careers in the football industry. Success stories include former players who have transitioned into coaching or sports management roles, as well as grassroots initiatives are evident throughout the world.
